E：I was thinking we could take a daytrip to either Jiufen or Yingge today. What are you doing?
N：I'm just going online to check my email really quickly.
E：I thought you said you wouldn't because we're in the middle of our vacation.
N：I told my boss I would check in during the week, so I won't be but a minute.
E：Why did you do that? If we're going to make this feel like a real getaway, we really need to stick to our agreement of not checking email or watching TV.
N：I'm sorry, but the only way I could get the time off during this busy month was to agree to the request from the boss.
E：I wish you told me that right from the start.
