An Australian pizza delivery man gave fast food a new meaning when he was caught, and fined, for driving 53 km over the speed limit.

澳洲一名送披薩小弟給了速食新的意義，他為了送披薩而超速53公里，結果遭逮捕與罰款。

The 20-year-old man, driving on a provisional driver’s license, said he was speeding because he was 20 minutes late with his delivery in the tropical northern town of Townsville.

這名使用臨時駕照的20歲男子說，他之所以會在（澳洲）北部熱帶城鎮湯斯維爾超速，是因為他已經遲到20分鐘。

Police clocked him driving at 131 kms in an 80 kph zone, but waited for him to deliver his pizza before booking him.

警方在時速80公里的區域測到他以131公里的高速行駛，但等到他送完披薩才將之逮捕。

On his return journey to the pizza shop, he was caught speeding at 133 km in the same zone.

返回披薩店的途中，他在同一區域因以133公里的時速飛車而遭逮捕。

Police sergeant Brendan White said the delivery man, who was not named, was fined A$1520 and lost his license for 15 months.

布蘭登．懷特警官表示，這名姓名並未對外公布的送披薩小弟遭罰款澳幣1520元，以及吊扣駕照15個月。
