「曠職」指的是員工沒有正當理由而未出勤，英文說法為 absenteeism，也可用動詞片語 be absent from work。

另外，absenteeism 除了表示「曠職」之外，也可以表示「曠課」，此時也可以說 be absent from school。

例句：
1. Employee absenteeism is a serious problem at our office.
員工曠職是我們辦公室裡一個很嚴重的問題。
