1. On the computer vs. In the computer
在「電腦上玩棒球遊戲」的「上」該用哪個介係詞呢？你可以想像一下，遊戲的畫面是出現在螢幕上，因此如果你想表達電腦上的某個文件遊戲等等，記得用on the computer！
例句：It’s time for dinner! Stop playing baseball game on the computer.（晚餐時間到啦！別在電腦上玩棒球遊戲了！）
2. Married to vs. Married with
「我和XXX結婚了！」這句話“married 的介係詞你知道要放哪一個嗎？千萬別因為中文出現「和」，而說成I’m married with，正確的動詞說法為 I’m married “to” somebody.，而如果婚姻作為名詞 marriage 的話，像是He has a perfect marriage with/ to his college sweetheart.，to或是with都可以囉！
例句：
A: Does she have a boyfriend?（她有男朋友了嗎？）
B: Don’t even think about it! She’s married to the guy over there and they’ve had a child already.（別想了你！她已經跟那個男生結婚，而且他們也已經有一個小孩了！）
3. Answer of the question vs. Answer to the question
問題「的」答案、這扇門「的」鑰匙，你知道這些「的」其實都不是我們熟悉的of 嗎？在這裡我們應該要用to，因此答案是Answer to the question及key to the door。
of 的使用時機是當你看到這項物品本身是附屬在另一項物品上時，其中的介係詞就是用of，例如 The door of the room，這樣都懂了嗎？
例句：Does anyone know the answer to this question?（有人知道這題的答案嗎？）
4. In the car vs. On the car
學英文學了一陣子了，發現這些單字都很簡單，介係詞不管放in還是on感覺都很合理，那到底「在車上」是哪個呢？
揭曉囉！如果是能「在上面走動」的交通工具就是on (像是bus, train…)，而必須「彎曲身體坐進去」的就是in(car, truck…)，所以如果你想表達東西「在車上」或是「在車裡」就是in the car哦！
例句：I’m in the car. I’ll call you back later!（我現在在車上，晚點我再回電給你。）
5. In Sunday morning vs. On Sunday morning
「在星期天早上」的「在」到底是要用in還是on呢？訣竅很簡單！這邊的介係詞只要跟著最前面的Sunday就好囉！所以考考自己「在星期五晚上」該怎麼說！答案是on Friday night，這下都會了吧！
例句：The exam was on Monday morning, and unfortunately, I overslept and missed it.（考試是在週一早上，但很不幸地我睡過頭錯過考試了。）
6. A check for 10000 vs. A check of 10000?
「一萬元的支票」，這裡的「的」該不會又不是of了吧！？你猜得沒錯！這裡的「的」應該要用for來取代，而of與前面說的一樣，要本身這項物品與另一項共同依附才能用of這個字哦！平常是不是不小心用錯了呢？讓我們看看例句吧：
I’ll give a check for 100,000. Just let me party on your boat one night!（我會開給你張十萬元的支票，讓我去你的船上玩樂一晚吧！）
7. Remind me of vs. Remind me about
Remind的中文翻譯是「提醒」，那麼你分得出remind me of及remind me about的差別在哪嗎？前者代表的是「某件事物讓我想起了另一件事物」，而後者為「提醒我某件事」，還是不清楚嗎？看看例子吧！
The apple reminds me of my summer love. （這顆蘋果讓我想到我的夏日戀情。）
Will you remind me about that meeting?（你能提醒我參加那場會議嗎？）
8. Rise in the east vs. Rise from the east
「太陽從東邊升起」的「從」絕對不是from，因為正確來說，太陽升起的「具體位置」並不是「東邊」（地球繞著太陽轉），因此要說in the east，但如果你想表達的是某人事物「從」東邊過來，就可以用from囉！例如風從東方吹來The wind comes from the east.，都懂了吧！再看看以下的例句：
The sun rises in the east, not in the west.（太陽從東方升起，並不是西方。）
