thermometer「溫度計、體溫計」是用來量氣溫或是體溫的測量工具。傳統的溫度計是將水銀（mercury）放在細玻璃管中，不過現在的溫度計都已經改成電子式的，市面上有針對不同身體部位專用的不同體溫計，如ear thermometer「耳溫槍」、oral thermometer「口腔溫度計」、anal thermometer「肛用溫度計」、forehead thermometer「額頭溫度計」。
